LAWSON: Máire Christina (Magee). A resident of Ridgetown, Máire C. Lawson died on October 20, 2010 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham. Wife of the late Donald Warren Lawson (August 19, 2010). Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, daughter of the late Hugh Edward Magee and Catherine Teresa (Savage) Magee. Sister of Dr. Donal Magee and his wife Nancy of Castlebellingham, Ireland, and the late Teresa Magee. Sister-in-law of Mary Gertrude (Lawson) McHugh and her husband Ray of Spokane, Washington. Aunt of Hugh Fionan Magee of Dublin, Ireland, Eithne Magee Davies of Boulder, Colorado, Emer Magee of Omaha, Nebraska, Bronagh Magee of Omaha, Nebraska, and Siobhan Magee Dignam of Belfast, Northern Ireland. Mrs. Lawson taught in Washington when she first came to North America, then moved to Blenheim where she met and married her late husband Donald. She taught English and was the librarian at Blenheim District High School until her retirement. At Máire's request, there will be no visitation or services.
