Obituary of Lawrence G. 'Larry' Reaume

Reaume: Lawrence George “Larry”, A resident of Chatham, Larry Reaume passed away at the London Health Sciences Centre- University Campus on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the age 81. Beloved husband to the late Terry Reaume (Boussey) (2008). Dear father to David (Kelly) Reaume, Colette (Bill) Melnyk, Elene Stokes, June (Mark) Verkaik, Don (Linda) Reaume. Proud grandfather to Melissa, Lisa, Mike, Michael, Tim, Danny, Nicole and Justin. Great-grandfather to Drew, Jessica, Brooke, Mickey and Devon. Dear brother to Ray and Arlene Reaume, Agnes and John McAlorum, Betty and Phil Sheeler. Brother-in-law to Jim Hooper, Delores and Terry Murphy. Larry will also be dearly missed by several nieces and nephews and his loving four-legged companion Polly. Predeceased by his brother Oscar Reaume. Larry was a retired employee with the City of Chatham where he worked for the Parks and Recreation Department. Upon his retirement, he then dedicated his energies into nurturing his beautiful flower gardens at home. Memorial Visitation for Larry and his late wife Terry will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until the Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m. Fr. William Capitano officiating. Memorial donations to honour Larry and Terry’s life may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
