Obituary of Marianne Ritchie

Ritchie: Marianne, A resident of Chatham, Marianne Ritchie, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 13, 2010 after a brief battle with cancer. She was deeply loved, and will be greatly missed by her husband of 40 years, Paul Ritchie. Cherished mother to Dave (wife Tracy) and Melinda (husband Andrew). Proud and loving Oma to Calvin, Samuel, Londa, Jasmine and Logan. Beloved sister to Aleida Payne, Linda Maric, Yvonne Evans, Albert Zomer, and Nicki Watson. Caring aunt to many nieces and nephews. Marianne was a lovingly committed member of the Quilt Guild, Stichin' Sisters, Aquafit & “Lunch Bunch” where she will be sadly missed. She was an adopted Mom to countless others. As a devoted wife and mother, ever loving sister and aunt, and a treasured friend to many, Marianne will be greatly missed, but her compassionate legacy will live in our hearts forever. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Evangel Community Church, 76 Sandys St. Chatham, at 11:00 a.m. Rev. William Pipke Jr. officiating. Marianne’s family will receive friends from 10.15 a.m. to 10.45a.m. before the service. Donations can be made in honour of Marianne to 'Loads of Love' through Evangel Community Church.
