Wilkinson: Shirley (Chirpy Chuckles), In loving memory of an amazing Mother... A resident of Cedar Springs, Shirley Anne Wilkinson passed away at her residence on Friday November 26, 2010 at the age of 72 years. Born in Harwich Township, daughter of the late Milton and Phyllis (Ridout) Crawford. Beloved wife of the late John L. Wilkinson (1998). Dearly loved mother of Cindy & Rick Frederick of Merlin, Lorrie & John Drewery of Charing Cross, Shelley & Dennis Srokosz of Cedar Springs, Scott & Leona Wilkinson and Darren Wilkinson of Cedar Springs. Loving Grandmother of 7 surviving Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 Grandchildren. Sister of Peggy and Laird Snobelen of Erie Beach, Sammy Crawford, Gloria and Larry Parker, Murray and Darlene Crawford and Steven and Leeanne Crawford all of Cedar Springs. Predeceased by a sisiter-in-law Lana Crawford. Shirley will be affectionately remembered by her family and friends as a woman who loved to cook and bake and had a heart of gold who loved both people and animals. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Monday November 29, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Ed Nicol of Cedar Springs United Church officiating.
