ROUNTREE: Eleanor Elizabeth (Betty). A resident of R.R.#1 Blenheim, Betty Rountree passed away at the Village, Blenheim on Sunday, November 28, 2010. Born in St. Lambert, Quebec, daughter of the late Gordon and Amy (Royal) Fullard. Beloved wife of Sam Rountree for 60 years. Dear mother of Debra Smith and her husband Victor of R.R.#1 Blenheim and the late Derek Rountree (1990). Grandmother of Desmond Rountree and his wife Kathy of Candiac, Quebec, and Duston Rountree of Montreal, Quebec. Great-grandmother of Ella and Kayla, and 1 great-granddaughter on the way. Sister of Irene Maker of Calgary, Alberta, and Dorothy Griffin and her husband Jack of Brighton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 353 Talbot Street East, Blenheim on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with Mr. Peter Fleming officiating.
