Obituary of Thomas Walters

WALTERS: Thomas David (Tom). A resident of Blenheim, Tom Walters passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham at the age of 33. Born in Sarnia, dear son of David and Joyce (Vincent) Walters of Blenheim. Beloved husband of Lori (VanGorkum) Walters. Loving father of Claire and Aidan. Brother of Suzi French and her husband David of Blenheim, and Mike Walters and his wife Alisha of Chatham. Uncle of Andrew and Keira French. Grandson of Laura and Warren Vincent of Ayr, John Walters and his late wife Barbara of Devon, England, and Anna VanGorkum of Chatham. Son-in-law of Richard VanGorkum and his wife Michelle of Dresden, and June Snowdowne of Blenheim. Brother-in-law of Cheryl VanGorkum, and Jamie VanGorkum. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tom drove truck for Warren Gibson Transport for many years. He was a member of the Chatham-Kent Referee Association and refereed in local hockey rinks for 18 years. He was a graduate of B.D.H.S. and a “die-hard Montreal Canadiens fan”. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev.
