WELLINGTON: Darlene E. A resident of Chatham, Darlene E. Wellington passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance - Sydenham Campus, on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at the age of 73. Loving wife of Robert Wellington for 53 years. Dear mother of Carrie Ellen and Mario Formosa of Charing Cross, Sharon Rose McLean and Bill Pengelly of Guelph, and Rodney Scott Wellington of Vancouver. Dear grandmother of Ian and Stacie Formosa, Colleen Formosa and her friend Aaron, Corrina McLean and her friend Roland. Dear great-grandmother of Alexander, Megan, Colin, and Luca Formosa, Austin Caza, and Braydon and McKayli VanPuymbroeck. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Loretta and John Hendrie of Chatham, Alvina and Edwin Crundwell of Chatham, Reginald and Annette Robertson of London, Larry Robertson of Calgary, Barbara Robertson of Chatham, and Lynn Robertson of Detroit. Dear sister-in-law of Margaret and Gerald Johnson. Predeceased by her parents Alvin and Laura Robertson, brother Ronald Robertson and sister Rosemary Robertson. Darlene volunteered for many area charities including Girl Guides, Women’s Shelter, and Fun with Friends. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at the Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2010 with Rev. Dr. Margaret Trapnell officiating. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to honour Darlene’s life can be made to Muscular Dystrophy.
