Obituary of H. Allison Wright

Wright; H. Allison, a resident of Blenheim. H. Allison Wright died Thursday December 16, 2010 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 75. Born in Harwich Township son of the late Wilfred Warren & Helen Louisa Broadwood (Allison) Wright. Beloved husband of Dorothy P. (Fraser) Wright. Dear father of Glenn Wright of Dusseldorf, Germany. Grandfather of Ashley Wright & friend Brad, Blenheim; Justin Wright, Blenheim and Amber Wright, Blenheim. Brother of Patricia & Doug Haskell, Goderich; Catherine & Bev Shaw, Ridgetown; and Bill & MaryAnn Wright, Blenheim. Also survived by daughter-in-law Jackie Wright, Blenheim; chosen daughter Eileen Lindsay, Blenheim; sister-in-law Irene & Don Koyle, Lambeth and several nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles. Allison was an electrician by trade and worked for Rose Electric, Honey Electric, Solvay/Inergy and Pioneer. He loved snowmobiling, fishing and time spent with his grandchildren and races at Buxton Raceway.Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park St., Blenheim on Tuesday December 21, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with Mr. Wright’s nephew, Rev. Jay Koyle officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations in memory of Allison to the Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
