Obituary of Lawrence Ouellette

OUELLETTE, Larry A resident of Chatham, Lawrence “Larry” Joseph Ouellette passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Friday, December 17, 2010 at the age of 92. Born in Tilbury, on December 12, 1918, son of the late James & Clara Ouellette. Cherished husband of the late Betty (nee Shaw) Ouellette. Loving father to Barbara Hennessy of Chatham, Beverly & Barry Ronson of Bracebridge, James “Jim” & Arlene Ouellette of Dundas, Karen & Don Powers of Dover Township, and Patricia McGill & Daniel of Guelph. Fondly remembered by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and sister Margaret Roy of London. Larry is predeceased by siblings Stella Sauve, Beatrice Black, Ray Ouellette, Donald Ouellette, Alfred Ouellette, grandson David Ronson (1977), great-grandson Nathan Ronson, and son-in-law Rick Fisher. Larry worked as an Inspector at International Harvestor for many years prior to his retirement, he was a WWII Veteran, and spent leisure time travelling. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Monday, December 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Daniel Bombardier as celebrant. Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
