Obituary of Robert Rowe

ROWE: Robert Edgar. A resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Blenheim, Robert E. Rowe passed away at the Village, Ridgetown on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at the age of 84. Born in Harwich Township, son of the late Clarence Rowe and Ruth (Dawson) Rowe. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor (Mallory) Rowe (1993). Dear father of Marie Wilson and her husband Allan of Leduc, Alberta. Grandfather of Joshua Rogers, Bronwyn Wilson, and Kathleen Wilson. Brother of Carolyn Rowe of Florida, Albert and Carmel Rowe of London, Conrad and Helen Rowe of Highgate, and the late John Rowe, Donald Rowe, and Mary Rowe. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Robert was a farmer and raised cattle and cash crops on Front Ridge Road, Blenheim for many years. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Monday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Wanda Burse of Ridge Community Church officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations to the Nature Conservancy of Canada would be appreciated.
