Obituary of Doug Bellamy

BELLAMY: Brian Douglas ‘Doug’ – A resident of Blenheim, Doug Bellamy passed away at his residence on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at the age of 59. Loved and cherished husband of Marlene, father of Jeff and Stephanie Bellamy, Scott and Becky Bellamy, Brian and Jessica Bellamy, Brooke Bellamy, Jason and Danielle Bosker, Tanya and Sean Wilkins and Christa and Tim Mobberley. Fun-loving and adored grandpa of Mitchel, Marshall, Erin, Maura, James, Nina, Seth, Taylor, Layla, Jake, Kaitlyn, Kara, Oliver and David. Predeceased by father Robert Bellamy and mother Lillian (Anderson) Bellamy. Sadly missed by many relatives, friends and his best friend Obediah. Doug was a former piper for the Royal Canadian Legion and an antique car and tractor enthusiast. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service is to be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. James E. Brown officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Doug to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
