Obituary of Sharron Polowick

POLOWICK: Sharron F. A resident of Muirkirk, Sharron Polowick passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Albert and Ida (Raymond) Jeffery. Beloved wife of Mike Polowick. Dear sister of Violet Glazier (Keith) of Blenheim, Norman Jeffery (Charlene) of R.R.#3 Merlin, Gordon Jeffery (Vi) of Chatham, and the late Joseph Jeffery (Mary), Ed Jeffery (Esther), David Jeffery (Katie), and Luella Ramsden (Jack). Also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Sharron was a devoted teacher with the Kent County Board of Education for 37 years. Starting out in a one-room schoolhouse, she dedicated her time to the many students who came into her life. A family visitation and Funeral Service was held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Friday, December 31, 2010. Interment followed in Pardoville-Union Cemetery, Raleigh Township. Donations in Sharron’s honour to the Children’s Wish Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated.
