Obituary of Jacqueline 'Suzanne' Waddick

Waddick, Jacqueline Suzanne, a resident of Chatham. Suzanne Waddick died at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Friday January 7, 2011 at the age of 69, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Hamstead, England , daughter of the late Peter Joseph Aurel Xavier & Patricia Clay (Harvey) Foucault. Beloved wife of Ed Waddick. Dear mother of Lisa & George Christian, Chatham. Step-mother of Cathy & Ron Clayton and Kelly & Leo Doyle, all of Chatham. Grandmother of Peter Christian; Josh (Carmen) & Jordan Clayton; Dylan, Davin, & Dakota Doyle; and Lee VandeHogen. Sister of Peter & Louise Foucault, Sudbury; Wendy Labine & Karen, Kingston and Tim & Wendy Foucault, Chelmsford. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Suzanne loved to play cards and spend time with her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Ursula’s Catholic Church & the C.W.L. Family and friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Monday January 10, 2011 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ursula’s Catholic Church, Chatham with Fr. Matt Kucharski celebrant. Interment St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Chatham. Donations in memory of Suzanne to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Charity of Choice would be appreciated.
