Obituary of Leonard Crawford

CRAWFORD: Leonard John "Len". A resident of Chatham, Leonard Crawford passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the age of 78. Born in Tilbury East Township, son of the late Jack and Grace (Haskell) (Plumb) Crawford. Beloved husband of Pauline (Jenkinson) Crawford since August 30, 1958. Dear father of Gary Crawford of Shrewsbury. Grandfather of Courtney Crawford of Gatineau, Quebec. Brother of the late Evelyn Stone (1990) and George Crawford (1935). Mr. Crawford was a Veteran of the Korean War and served with the Royal Canadian Regiment, 1st Battalion. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #628 for 54 years. He retired in 1987 from the Kent County Road Department. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at Craford Cemetery, Raleigh Township at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2011 with the Rev.
