Obituary of Charles Edmund 'Ed' Matthew

Matthew: Charles Edmund “Ed”, A resident of Chatham, Ed Matthew passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Chatham Campus on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the age of 76. Born in Harwich Township to the late Harry and May (nee Leach) Matthew. Loving husband of 58 years to Marlene Matthew (nee Crome). Dear father to Wendy Matthew of Chatham, Tamme Matthew and Bruce Smith of Shedden. Proud grandfather to Kurt Smith. Dear brother to Alice Pelletier of Chatham, Mary Hill of Blenheim, John Matthew and his wife Margaret, Hilda Myers, Phyllis Castle and her husband Bob all of Chatham. Brother-in-law to Bud Crome and his wife Norma also of Chatham. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Rev.
