Obituary of Oscar Albert Van Keer

VAN KEER: Oscar Albert - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Oscar Van Keer. A resident of R.R. # 3 Blenheim and a student at Blenheim District High School, Oscar passed away on Monday, January 24, 2011 at the age of 18. Sadly missed by his parents Betty Ann and Albert Van Keer. Dear brother to Victor Van Keer and his fiancee Stephanie Seguin of Windsor and Adriana Van Keer and her fiance Ed DeLuca of Yellowknife, NT. Much loved grandson to his oma Adriana van Gaalen of Blenheim. Dearly missed by his aunts and uncles, Marie Theresa and Bert DeBrouwer of Blenheim, Rose Marie and Leo Carter of London, Ron and Elaine van Gaalen of Tecumseh, Andy van Gaalen of Blenheim, Ted van Gaalen of LaSalle and Michelle and Andrew Archibald of Orillia. Also missed by his many cousins, his special friends and four-legged best friend Dexter. Oscar aspired to become a veterinarian, and took pleasure in studying chemistry, biology and math. He also enjoyed weightlifting and cross-country running and was a talented classical pianist. Oscar liked to laugh, and he laughed often while playing Xbox 360 with his friends. Family and friends are invited to the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
