Obituary of Marjorie L. Sitzes

SITZES: Marjorie L. (nee McCabe) - A resident of Chatham, Marjorie Sitzes passed away at Chelsey Park Long Term Care Home in London on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in her 90th year. Born in Euphemia Township, Marjorie was the daughter of the late Harvey and Gladys (Bourn) McCabe. Beloved wife of the late Cecil Sitzes. Loving mother of Barry and Betty Sitzes of London. Proud grandmother of Kate and Chris Behl and Kelly Kirkey all of London. Great-grandmother to Matthew, Keinan, Liam, Alysa and Hailey. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers Mildred Robinson, Flossie McCabe, Lila McCabe, Lloyd McCabe, Murray McCabe and Reg McCabe. Marjorie was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Chatham Ladies Auxiliary Branch #28 and enjoyed her time camping at Rondeau Park. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at the Funeral Home at 1:30p.m. on Monday, February 7, 2011 with the Rev.
