Obituary of Audrey Garlick

GARLICK: Audrey (Weaver) A resident of Chatham, Audrey Garlick passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at Meadowpark Nursing Home, at the age of 93. Born in Chatham Township on March 8, 1917, daughter of the late William & Lillian (Tompkins) Weaver. Beloved wife of the late Bill Garlick (January 22, 2005). Loving mother of Ralph & Mary Catherine Garlick of Chatham, and Jo-Anne & Tom Russell of London. Proud grandmother of seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, five step-great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Audrey is survived by her siblings Winston & Olive Weaver and Ruth Ford of B.C., George & Emily Garlick of Chatham, Anne Faubert of Tilbury, and Mildred Garlick of Chatham. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by her sisters Myrtle, Eilleen, Wilma, and Phyllis, her brother Doug, her great grandson Matthew Russell, her brother in-law Jack Garlick, and sister in-law Florence Benning. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service and interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to CNIB, Canadian Cancer Society, or the Alzheimers Society are appreciated.
