Obituary of Margaret Johnson

JOHNSON, Margaret A resident of Chatham and formerly of Ridgetown, Margaret Johnson passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Friday, February 18, 2011 at the age of 88. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Guy & Ethel (Burtch) Brown. Beloved wife of the late Donald Johnson (1985). Loving sister to Wilfred & Mary Louise Brown of Chatham, the late Betty Mills and her husband John Mills of Point Edward, the late Robert Brown and his wife Audrey Brown of London, and to the late Winifred & Robert Guy. Sister-in-law to the late Hanley & Enid Johnson, the late Walter Johnson and his wife Marjorie Johnson of Ridgetown, the late Helen & John Wilson, Ruth Elgie of Dawn Mills and her husband the late Ken Elgie, and Lillian Kirby of London. Forever missed by many nieces & nephews. Margaret was a long time member of the Chatham Baptist Church, and the Women’s Missionary Society. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor James Tiffin officiating. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Special thanks to the staff at St. Andrew’s Residence for their wonderful and compassionate care.
