Obituary of Marcella Cordelia Decan

With her family by her side, Marcella Decan, a resident of Chatham, past away on March 1, 2011 at the Copper Terrace Nursing Home, Chatham at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Maurice Decan (1991). Dear daughter of the late Hector and Lea Charbonneau. Cherished mother of Richard Decan of Wallaceburg; Brenda and Bill Dow of Dartmouth, NS; Linda and Larry Gore of RR#4 Blenheim; Ralph and Lori Decan of Chatham; Kim and Scott Brown of Surrey, BC. Fondly remembered by daughter-in-law Shirley Decan of Ridgetown. Marcella will be missed by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Dear sister of Luella and Frank Gervais of Chatham, and sister-in-law Shirley Charbonneau of Wallaceburg. Predeceased by brothers Romeo Charbonneau and Armand Charbonneau. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham. Donations in memory of Marcella to the Alzheimer’s Society or Outreach for Hunger would be appreciated by the family.
