Obituary of Catherine Vervaet

“A kind and loving person has passed away.” Born in Poland on September 29, 1922, Catherine Vervaet (Bilinski) passed away peacefully on March 3, 2011 in Chatham, Ontario. For many years Catherine and her family were part of the farming community of Blenheim, Ontario before retiring to live in Chatham. Catherine is predeceased by her husband Albert, her son Terry, her parents Carl and Mary Bilinski, her sister Elizabeth Baltzer, and her brother Joseph Bilinski. She will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews; Bonnie White, Kathy Mastronardi, Margie Peters, Richard Bilinski, David Bilinski, and Gary Williams, and all of their families. She will also be missed by her dear and close friends Janet and Jim Cox. Catherine’s family would like to thank the staff of St. Andrew’s Residence who assisted her with her final years of life, and a very special thanks to Janet Cox for always being there for our aunt. Respecting Catherine’s wishes, there will be no formal service. A private family interment service will take place at a later date.
