VanderSpek: Jacob- A resident of Chatham, Jacob VanderSpek passed away at Riverview Gardens on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the age of 93. Born in Rhenen, Holland. Loving husband for 64 years to the late Anthonia (nee Paul)VanderSpek (March 3, 2011). Dear father to the late Arie (2003) and his wife Johanna VanderSpek, Dina Sonneveld and her husband Gus, Peter VanderSpek and his wife Marian, and John VanderSpek. Proud grandfather to Paul & Kathleen, Arianna & Carl, Elyse & John, Danny, Michelle. Predeceased by his grandson Jän Joseph. Jacob is survived by one brother in Holland. He is predeceased by two brothers and one sister.Family and friends are invited to gather at First Reformed Church, 632 Lacroix St. Chatham on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Richard Vander Vaart officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
