Woods; Veronica (Nalewayek), a resident of Chatham. Veronica Woods passed away Friday April 1, 2011 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 65. Born in Chatham daughter of Louise (Wisniewski) and the late William Nalewayek. Beloved wife of George W. Woods. Dear mother of Michelle Webster; Laurie Roy; and Lea Anne & Mark Woods. Sister of Caroline Jedlinski. Grandmother of Shane & Cody Turner; Devon, Marissa & Michella Webster. In keeping with Veronica’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Saturday April 9, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Veronica to Big Sisters Chatham-Kent would be appreciated.
