CHARUK: Harry John A longtime resident of Chatham, Harry Charuk died peacefully at Copper Terrace on Saturday April 9, 2011, with his family by his side. Born in Saskatchewan 98 years ago, son of the late Mike & Pauline Charuk. Loving husband of the late Alyce (Murray) Charuk (2000). Beloved friend of Dorothy Cleasby. Dear father of Robert & Dianne Charuk of London, Virginia Wall of Chatham, and the late Helen (2002) & John Blackburn. (2009) also of Chatham. Cherished grandfather of David & Ruth, Deborah & Paul, John & Kim, Joan & Steven, Don & Olga, Michael & Shirley, Linda & Leonardo, and Laura. Great grandfather of Amanda, Benjamin, Neil, Kara, Jessa, Hailey, John, Jennifer, Jessica, Nicole, Andrew, and Michael. Brother of the late Bill Charuk, Pete Charuk, Mary Kuz, Sophie Bell, and Bessie Crawford. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Harry retired from Libbys, Chatham in 1974. Family will gather for a time of celebration and remembrance at a later date. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
