Obituary of Donna Lovell

LOVELL, Donna A long time resident of Chatham, and most recently a resident of Newbury, Donna Lovell passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the Babcock Community Care Centre at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Richard “Dick” Lovell (1977). Cherished and loving mother to Audrey Hackett (Larry) of Bothwell, David Lovell of Chatham, Bessie Dawson (James) of Florence, Chris Lovell (Della) of Bothwell, Kathy Somerville (Gordon) of Ingersol, Brenda Dicerni (Jeff) of Ottawa, Bruce Lovell (Kandy) of Petawawa, Debbie Crowell (John) of Bothwell, and the late Graham Lovell. Donna will be missed by her 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter. Survived by sisters Muriel Ritchie of Chatham, and Melba Norris of Ottawa. Predeceased by brothers Orville Benn, and Charlie Benn. Donna was a long time member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 28, Chatham. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. until the Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Susan Jolley officiating.Interment of cremated remains at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
