Obituary of Allan Schrank

SCHRANK, Allan: A resident of Chatham, Allan Schrank, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 9, 2011 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 54. Born in Chatham, son of Jeanne and the late Allen Schrank. Beloved husband to Cheryl Schrank. Step-father to Chuck Young (Shannon), Chris Young (Sandra), and Carrie Bateman (Tim). Grandpa Allan will be missed by grandchildren Mikhayla, Anikah, Elijah, and Kiera Young, Karis & Gwendolyn Bateman, and Hunter Young. Brother to Mark Schrank (Colleen) and their children Eric Schrank (Kristal), and Corynn Buys (Peet). Fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Barb Troyer, father-in-law Ken Bellamy, sister-in-law Deb Fraser, and nephews Tyler Fraser (Cassandra), Troy Fraser, and niece Trista Fraser. Allan worked at the International Harvester for 33 years until his retirement. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m., and Thursday from 12:00-1:30 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow.
