KELLEY: Marilyn Joan (nee Roberts) A resident of Ridgetown, and formerly of Chatham, Marilyn Kelley passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Copper Terrace Long Term Care Facility, at the age of 77. Born in St. Thomas, daughter of the late John & Edith (Baldwin) Roberts. Beloved wife William R. Cornfoot. Loving mother of Marianne Kelley of Acton and the late David Kelley. Dear sister of Marie Davis of Wales. Predeceased by her first husband Ted Kelley (1994). Marilyn had lived in Chatham for 35 years while she was a registered nurse at the Public General Hospital, after which she became a member of the P.G.H. Nurses Alumni Association. She was a member of Erie Street United Church in Ridgetown and a member of the Fellowship Club of Erie Street United. Please join Marilyn’s family as they receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main St. East, Ridgetown, on Monday, June 6, 2011 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held in St. Thomas at a later date. In keeping with Marilyn’s wishes, please no flowers. Donations made in memory of Marilyn to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Foundation of the Chatham Kent Health Alliance are welcomed and appreciated by the family.
