FOX: Dorothy June. A resident of R.R. # 3 Chatham, Dorothy Fox passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens on Sunday June 12, 2011 at the age of 72. Beloved daughter of the late Samuel Hoyles & Jenny Mott. Beloved wife of 55 years to Lee Fox. Loving mother of Terry Pogachar of Chatham, and Jodi Morrison & her partner Brent Babcock of R.R. # 4 Chatham. Predeceased by her son Mike Fox (2009). Much loved gramma of Andrew Morrison & Kelly Galbraith of Chatham, Joseph Morrison of Edmonton, Jessica & Brock Cantor of St. Catherines, and step grandmother of Devon Babcock & Shaun Robbins of Chatham. Cherished great grandmother of 5. Dear sister of Anna Pardo of Chatham (late Lloyd), and the late Betty (Dick) Heemsbergen. Fondly remembered by her niece and nephew. Dorothy worked for many years at Peoples Jewellers until she found her passion in life---antiques. She owned and operated “Dorothy’s Country Antiques” for many years until her health no longer allowed. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. A Family Graveside Service will take place on Thursday at Maple Leaf Cemetery. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the local chapter of the ALS Society or the Chatham-Kent OSPCA.
