Obituary of Luke Mikolaski

MIKOLASKI: Luke – A resident of Ridgetown, Luke Mikolaski passed away at Four Counties Hospital in Newbury on Monday, June 27, 2011 at the age of 77. Born in Hamilton, Luke was the son of the late Nikola and Sophia Mikolachki. Dearly missed by Aynslie Laprise, his companion of 24 years. Luke is survived by his brother Sam Mikolaski of California, his sister Pauline Silverwood of Vancouver and predeceased by sister Maritsa Brooks. Luke was a lover of cats and dogs. He farmed for his entire life, predominantly as a pig farmer and a grain farmer. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dwight Holditch officiating. Interment will be held at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodstock on Friday, July 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Donations made in memory of Luke to the Canadian Cancer Society, V.O.N.
