Obituary of James Robert Hudson

HUDSON: James Robert – A resident of Ridgetown, James Hudson passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at the age of 73. Born in Sudbury on May 4, 1938, James was the son of the late Ann Audrey Gough. James is survived by his wife Gwendoline Phyllis (White) Hudson. Beloved father of Janice and Robert Huff of Rome, Georgia; James and Andrea Hudson of Lively, Ontario; and Norman and Lisa Hudson of Amherstberg, Ontario. James will be fondly remembered by his much loved grandson Steven Hudson of Rome, Georgia; and granddaughters Kathleen and Riley Hudson of Amherstberg, Ontario. Fondly remembered by sisters- in-law Sandra White and Mary Jean White. Forever missed by nieces and nephews Linda Lee White of Nanaimo British Columbia; Geoffrey White (Shannon) of Pickering, Ontario; and Pamela Kuipers of Chatham. Predeceased by his brothers Charles Kenneth Hudson and infant granddaughter Madailein Quinn Hudson, and brothers-in-law Kenneth Edward White and Lawrence Burton White. James was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 243 Ridgetown. A private family graveside service will be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery Chatham. In lieu of flowers donations to the Chatham-Kent OSPCA or a Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated by the family.
