Obituary of Mark Sweet

SWEET, Mark; Although the Christmas lights at 46 Riverview Drive have gone out, we will always remember how Mark filled our hearts with joy. God decided to end the suffering our dear Mark had endured. As he rests peacefully, he is watching over us. Mark Sweet passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 12, 2011. He leaves behind his wife and best friend of 23 years Marlene Sweet. Born in St. Catharines, son of Mildred Sweet & the late Paul Sweet (2010). Cherished father to Michelle Sweet-Boulay and her husband Gilles, Trevor Sweet and his wife Corrine, Renee D’Ambrosio and her husband Vince, and Chris Diesbourg and his wife Kelly. Mark will be forever missed by his 14 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Loving brother to Garth & Geraldine Sweet. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Evangel Community Church, 76 Sandys Street, Chatham at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bill Pipke officiating.
