Bob was employed throughout his lifetime with British Leaf Tobacco, City Ice Service, Planet Printing and Chatham Coach Lines. Bob raised a family and farmed in New Scotland, Ontario. He served as Mayor of New Scotland. Prior to his retirement, he was employed with W.G. Thompson & Sons Ltd., Blenheim, as a grain elevator operator. He enjoyed life. Memories we have of Bob will always be dear. He professed a hope in Jesus Christ, his Saviour and loved Him. We should not mourn his passing but should rejoice that he has gone, we know, to a home more beautiful than any we have known.
