Obituary of Thelma Maw

MAW: Thelma Mary Margaret. A longtime resident of Blenheim & McKay’s Corners, Thelma Maw died peacefully surrounded by her family at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Friday August 26, 2011 at the age of 95. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Norman & Christina Moore. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Maw (May 1990). Loving mother of Gordon Maw of Chatham and Gail Baltzer of Blenheim, and her late husband Ray (November 2010). Cherished grandmother of Greg & Marg Baltzer of London, Susan & Tim Blonde of Blenheim, Scott & Karen Maw of Ridgetown, and Darren Maw & Kelly Robertson of Chatham; and great grandmother of Amanda Baltzer, Matthew Baltzer, Kari Maw, and Kylie Maw. Thelma was the last surviving member of her family, predeceased by her brother Gordon Moore and sister Bernice Quinn. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Sunday 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Monday August 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Botany Cemetery, Howard Township.
