Obituary of Kenneth James Reekie

REEKIE: Kenneth James. At the London Health Sciences Centre, London on August 31, 2011 Kenneth James Reekie, a resident of Chatham and formerly of Blenheim passed away at the age of 69. Dear son of the late Harry and Lila (Mellon) Reekie. Beloved husband of Harriett (Hamilton) Reekie for 42 wonderful years. Dear father of the late Elizabeth Anne (1997) Reekie and Kenneth Charles (K.C.) Reekie of Georgia. Special grandfather to Brittany Cunningham. Dear brother of Delores Stefina of Blenheim, and Gord and Janet Reekie of B.C. Dear brother-in-law of George Paling of Blenheim and David Hamilton of Chatham. Predeceased by his sister Mary Lou Paling (2011). Fondly remembered by his Aunt Dorothy Hitchcock of Chatham, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ken thoroughly enjoyed watching western movies and classic cars. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Saturday from 1:00 – 4:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Chris Couper of Evangel Community Church officiating.
