Obituary of Raymond Norris

NORRIS, Ray; A resident of Chatham, Ray Norris, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 69. Born in Chatham, son of the late Raymond & Catherine Norris. Loving husband to Cheryle Norris (Maine). Loving father to Kelli & Tony Johnson of St. Thomas, Paul & April Norris of Chatham, and Scott & Cathy Norris of Dover Centre. Forever missed by his grandchildren Delaney & Brady Johnson, Jordan Smith, Nolan Smith, Sarah Smith-Norris, and Grace Norris, Avery & Maclean Norris. Brother-in-law to Donna & Jack McLeod, Mickie & Don Sans, Jack & Helen Maine, and Larry & LouAnne Maine all of Chatham. Missed by many nieces & nephews. Ray was an avid golfer and a loyal Detroit Tigers fan. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, gardening, watching and feeding the birds. In honour of Ray’s request cremation and a Private Family Inurnment have taken place. A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at the McKinlay Funeral Home Reception Centre 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham.
