SCOTT: Jean. A resident of Ridgetown, Jean Scott passed away at the Village-On-The-Ridge, Ridgetown, on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the age of 89. Born in Ridgetown, daughter of the late Harold and Bertha (Cowell) Brown. Beloved wife of the late Fred Brundritt (1981), and the late Walter (Scotty) Scott (1997). Dear mother of Marjorie Woodside of Simcoe, Shirley King of Westminster,Maryland,USA and the late Larry Brundritt. Step-mother of Kelly Chalcraft, Joyce Wright, Peter Griffiths and the late Linda Balmer. Grandmother of 9, and great-grandmother of 17. Sister of the late Walter Brown, Howard Brown, Gordon Brown, and Gerald Brown. Sister-in-law of Leona Brown of Ridgetown. Mrs. Scott was a member of Branch #243 Royal Canadian Legion, Ridgetown, and the Morpeth and Ridgetown Senior Centres. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Friday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev.
