HORNICK, Irene (Opavsky); A resident of Chatham, Irene Hornick passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the age of 62. Dear wife of the late Vaughn Hornick. Beloved daughter of the late Frank and Mary Opavsky. Cherished mother of Kari and Dan VanKoughnett of Dresden and Kristy Reis of Wallaceburg. Beloved grandmother of Eben and Cole; and Kelsey, Owen, and Rylee. Cherished sister of Helen and George Jensen of London. Special Aunt of Greg Jensen and Miriam Hendry of London, and Kristen Jensen and John Bezear of Kitchener. Dear daughter-in-law of Gerald Hornick of Dresden. A special thank you to her friends at the Ridge Players and the Sweet Adelines who supported her and enriched her life. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham one hour prior to the Memorial Service which will be held on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 1:00 pm with the Rev.
