Obituary of Kirk Charles Greenwood

Greenwood: Kirk Charles, A resident of St. Thomas, and formerly of Chatham, Kirk Greenwood passed away on Monday, October 3, 2011 with his family by his side at the London Health Sciences Centre-Victoria Hospital at the age of 46. Kirk was born in Chatham and is the son of Charles and Judy (nee McFadden) Greenwood. Son-in-law of Bill and Gloria Robinson. Loving husband of Carrie Robinson. Dear father to Emma Greenwood and Carsen Greenwood. Dear brother of Cory and Mary Joe Greenwood. Brother-in-law of Tammy and George Blanco. Kirk will also be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews. Kirk was a Tooling Engineer with Intertec (Division of JCI). Family meant everything to Kirk. The love he shared will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to have known him. Kirk will also be remembered for his passion for racing and his love for motorcycles. Memorial visitation will be held at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. until the Memorial Service to celebrate Kirk’s life at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Linda McFadden officiating. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to honour Kirk’s life can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice and would be appreciated by the family.
