Obituary of Ruth Edith Fraser

FRASER, Ruth; A resident of RR#1 Blenheim, Ruth Edith Fraser passed away peacefully on October 9, 2011. Born in South Easthope Township, Perth County, 87 years ago, daughter of the late Ernest McKay & Pauline Koch. Before her marriage in 1945 Ruth worked in a knitting factory in Stratford. She then married James Alexander Fraser of Stratford and together they went on to raise their 3 children. Loving mother of Dan (Joyce) Fraser of London, Christine Fraser and Tom Fraser both of Blenheim. Dear grandmother to Heather Fraser, Ian (Kate) Fraser and great-grandmother to Brynn and Isla Fraser of London. Survived by sister Gladys Dale, Stratford, sister-in-law Marguerite Fraser, London, and brother-in-law Bill and his wife Caroll Fraser of Brighton. Missed by several nieces, nephews, and their families. Predeceased by husband James Fraser, sister Eileen Turner and husband Bob, brother Jack McKay and wife Dorothy, sister-in-law Barb Fraser and brothers-in-law Wilson Dale, and Don Fraser. Cremation has taken place. A Private Family Interment will take place at a later date in Avondale Cemetery, Stratford.
