KNIGHT, Eleanor: A resident of Chatham, and formerly of Essex and Dresden, Eleanor M. Knight passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the age of 83. Born in Wheatley, daughter of the late Henry & Bertha Hatt. Beloved wife of the late Arlington E. Knight (October 5, 2011) for 63 years (July 10, 1948). Dear mother to June Hopper and her husband Wilfred of Chatham, Cheryl Lemke and her husband Earl of Woodstock, and the late Lloyd Knight (2001). Grandmother to Thomas Armstrong (Joanna), Brandon Armstrong (Chey-Lin), Sheauna Barnes (Jason), Jason Lemke (Rachael), Derek Lemke, and Charlene Lemke. Great-Grandmother to Trenton, Destanee, Alyssa, Jordan, Mytchell, Aidan, Jazzmin, Skott, Isabelle, Gracie, Carter, and Dayton. Survived by brother Neil Hatt, brother-in-law Delbert Knight (Viane), and sister-in-law Donna Lawton (Jim). Predeceased by brothers Glenford Hatt (1914), Donald Hatt (1939), Howard Hatt (1947), Raymond Hatt (1976), Leonard Hatt (1992), Harvey Hatt (1993), Orval Hatt (1990), Russell Hatt (2008), and sister Cleo Stevenson (1995). Forever missed by many nieces & nephews. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Eric Skillings officiating. Cremation with interment in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Windsor.
