Obituary of Beatrice Skolnik

Skolnik, Beatrice, a resident of Chatham. Beatrice Skolnik passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Sunday October 23, 2011 at the age of 86. Born in Silbas, Yugoslavia, daughter of the late Michael & Anna (Rojka) Rauza. Beloved wife of the late John Skolnik (2000). Dear mother of Helen & Wayne R. Bushey, Chatham and Irene & Larry Mikulica, Chatham. Grandmother of Shane Bushey (Rae Vandenboush), Squamish, B.C.; Jeffrey Bushey (Leanne) and daughter Jaylin, Langley B.C.; Wesley Bushey (Davin), Langley, B.C. and Kali Mikulica (Brendan Zapfe) Toronto. Beatrice was an active member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Chatham, and the Ladies Guild and she lived and farmed in the community for over 60 years. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Wednesday October 26, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Prayers will be offered at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 445 McNaughton Ave, W., Chatham on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Arthur Schiemann officiating. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
