Obituary of Elizabeth Snobelen

SNOBELEN: Elizabeth Mildred (October 6, 1912 – November 18, 2011) One of the last Old Timers of the Lower Fourth Line, South Harwich, Bisnett Line, Elizabeth Snobelen passed away on Friday November 18, 2011 at the age of 99. She is survived by her daughter Marilyn Doyle, and her son Laird (Peggy) Snobelen. Dear grandmother to eleven grandchildren: Lee Anne Doyle, Mark Doyle, Kelley Ilisevic, Sandra Zarankin, Greg Snobelen, Lori Ross, Jay McLeod, Darcy, Dale, Bradley, and Ann Snobelen, as well as several great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law Jeanette Snobelen. Elizabeth is predeceased by her parents Louis & Mildred Carson, her husband Harold Elliott Snobelen (1967), son Wayne Snobelen (2001), brother David Carson (1999) (Elizabeth), sister Mary Ellen Warwick (1989), and brother Warrant Officer Lewis G. Carson RCAF (missing in action WWII). Respecting Elizabeth’s wishes, a private family funeral service was held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, Blenheim on Monday November 21, 2011 officiated by Pastor Pat Pickle, Chaplain of Copper Terrace. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
