Obituary of Jack Moerman

MOERMAN: Jacob “Jack” – Our gracious Lord and God was pleased to give Jack Moerman 64 years of fruitful life until He called him home on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at his residence with his loving family surrounding him. Although he has gone to be with the Lord far sooner than we often think right, the memory of who he was and is will continue to inspire us into the future. His relentless determination and willpower made him an able combatant in his battle with cancer. Always dependant on the grace of God for strength, he faced a difficult future with optimism and confidence. With his battle now over, he trusts the Lord to care for his surviving family – his dear wife Ruth, his daughter Katie Courty (Mike), his son Wesley and his precious granddaughters Claire and Ava. Brothers Gerry (Helen), Murray (Pat), John (Eileen) and sisters Anne (Ralph) and Nellie (Gerry) also survive. Brother-in-law to Dale Tomlin (Ted) and Ron Nokes (Sheila). Uncle Jack was and is loved and cherished by many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the First Reformed Church, 632 Lacroix Street, Chatham at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2011 with Rev. John Kapteyn officiating. His physical resting place will be Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. The family desires that any memorial gifts be donated to the London Regional Cancer Centre: Prostate Cancer Research.
