O’Brien, Joyce H., a resident of Chatham and formerly Burlington and Montreal. Joyce O’Brien died Saturday February 4, 2012 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 85. Born in Louisbourg, N.S. daughter of the late Louis Frederick & Florence Beatrice (Gardiner) Newell. Beloved wife of William (Bill) O’Brien, Chatham. Dear mother of Maureen Hastings (Peter), Chatham and Bill O’Brien, Grimsby. Grandmother of Nicholas Hastings, Montanna O’Brien and step granddaughter Lisa Schiek-Hastings. Sister of the late Edna Cobb (2010). Sister-in-law of Sheila O’Brien, Rosalie Beattie, Elaine Larkin & Terry O’Brien, all of England. Cousin of Rex Batten, Montreal.
