Pouget; Shirley Mae, a resident of Chatham. Shirley Pouget died peacefully on Sunday February 12, 2012 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 76. Born in Sombra Township, Ontario, daughter of the late Delos & Margaret (Murray) Stratton. Beloved wife of Richard (Dick) Pouget. Dear mother of Joseph & Val Pouget, Hamilton; Michael Pouget, Chatham; Susan & Darin Kent; and Jim & Trina Pouget, Amherstburg. Grandmother of Jennie; Steven; Tyler; Ethan & Austin. Sister of Ron & June Stratton; Bill & Anne Stratton; Muriel & Charles Johnston; Garnet & Bev Stratton; Sharon & Ron Branton; Joan & Floyd Wagnaar; Carol & Ed Duquette; Linda & Larry Benoit; Judy & Doug Saunders; Glen & Elenor Stratton; Kathy Peeters; and the late Victor Stratton. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Shirley was a dedicated member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and the St. Agnes CWL. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Tuesday February 14, 2012 from 3:00 – 5:00 & 7:00- 9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be offered at the Funeral Home Tuesday evening at 6:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Chatham on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Daniel Bombardier celebrant. Interment in St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham. Donations in memory of Shirley to the Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
