Obituary of June Smart-Stimpson

SMART-STIMPSON, June; A resident of Chatham, June Smart-Stimpson, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Charles W. Stimpson (2008). Loving sister to Joanne McKeon and her husband the late James (2009). Survived by sister-in-laws Juanita Smart, Haroldean Smart, and many nieces & nephews. Step-mother to Joan, John (Joyce), and Bob (Kathy). Predeceased by her three brothers Max, Earl, and Richard. June was a long time member of the Community of Christ Church, and a volunteer for over ten years for Outreach for Hunger. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday from 7:30-9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Elder Nancy Melnyk officiating.
