Obituary of Dorothy Dhaen

DHAEN, Dorothy Jean; A resident of Chatham, Dorothy Dhaen, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 78. Cherished wife of the late Peter Dhaen. Loving mother to Bob & Mary Farrell of Petrolia, Earl & Marilyn Farrell of Taylor, Michigan, and Brenda & Randy Coote of Chatham. Missed by her grandchildren Stephanie, Brian & Angel, Jenny & Jack, Tina & Kevin, Bobbi & James, her step-grandchildren Ray & Stacey, her 3 great-grandchildren, and 5 step-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by daughter-in-laws Lynn Farrell, and Cathy Farrell. Dorothy was a member of the Women of the Moose, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 628, and the Legion Pub Crawlers Band. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A College of Regents Women of the Moose Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations in memory of Dorothy Dhaen to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the O.S.P.C.A Chatham-Kent would be appreciated by the family.
