Obituary of Martha Shoji

SHOJI, Martha Hideye; A resident of Chatham, Martha Shoji passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the age of 80. Born in Whonnock, British Columbia, Martha is the daughter of late George and Kimi Shoji. Cherished aunt of Susan Levesque (Gilles) of Montreal, Leigh Ann Shoji-Lee (Carlos) of Surrey, British Columbia, Karen Coyle (Patrick) of Ottawa, Donna Elliott (Andrew) of Whitby, and Scott Shoji (Celina) of Chatham. Dear sister of Kyo Shoji (Tam) of Chatham and sister-in-law of Setsuko Araki of Vancouver. Predeceased by her brother George Shoji (1980). Martha was a valued employee for over thirty five years in the accounting department of the Chatham Daily News. Special thanks to Dr. Miller and the 4th Floor Medicine Staff and 3rd Floor Continuing Care Staff of the CKHA for their ongoing care and compassion. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday from 7:00- 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev.
