Obituary of Mary Pelkey

PELKEY, Mary: A resident of Chatham, and formerly of Pain Court, Mary Pelkey passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the age of 79. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Harvey & Dolores Tetreault. Cherished and loving wife for 61 years to Garnet Pelkey. Mother to Brian & Patricia Pelkey of Chatham, Bruce & Yvonne Pelkey of Grande Pointe, Brady Pelkey of Chatham, and the late Louis Pelkey (1953). Missed by her 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Survived by sister Beatrice Wood (Peter) of Sarnia, and brother Lionel Tetreault (Susan) of Windsor. Predeceased by sister Luella Tolar, brothers Edgar Tetreault, and Bernard Tetreault. Mary enjoyed camping, and fishing all over Ontario. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Philippe Cemetery, Grande Pointe Donations in memory of Mary Pelkey to the Parkinson Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
