Obituary of Simonne Vandenbroere

A resident of Chatham and formerly of Belgium, Simonne Vandenbroere passed away at L.H.S.C. University Campus on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at the age of 82. Born in Belgium, Simonne is the daughter of the late Maurice and Maria Dumortier. Cherished wife of 58 years to Daniel Vandenbroere of Chatham. Dear mother of Ron and Mary Anne Vandenbroere of Dealtown, Fred Vandenbroere of Chatham, and Christine and Kevin Havens of Chatham. Dear grandmother of Daniel and Jamie Vandenbroere, and Jessica Clegg; Giorgiana and Radu Vandenbroere; and Ryan Havens. Dear great-grandmother of Maddison, Makayla, and Melanie Vandenbroere. Fondly remembered by Annette Vandenbroere. Simonne is survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law all of Belgium. Predeceased by 2 sisters of Belgium. Simonne’s love for dancing will always be remembered.
